Why Role playing?

WHY ROLE PLAYING

Role playing promotes Creativity

This is a game that requires you to be creative and to think on your feet. Outside of the box. As a manager in advertising research, I have seen for myself how having a flexible mind with creative ideas was very valuable.

Role playing requires Teamwork

Work together as a team to accomplish things greater than you could as an individual.  Work with a party of diverse individuals with different skills to beat the bad guys or find the treasure.

Appreciating each other because of what we bring to the table teaches us to be appreciative in the real world. A diverse game, for a diverse world.

Problem solving

Physical, mental or social, characters in a role playing setting will need to deal with a variety of issues. Each character will bring their own skills to the problem. How to get past the Indiana Jones style trap. How do you convince the security officer at the local bank that you need to see their security footage. Maybe your Captain is giving you only an hour to make repairs and you need 3 hours.

Whatever the problem, there is a solution. Players will think of the craziest things to see if it will work.

Heroism

In my games the characters are the heroes, they save the day. Good deeds and epic adventure are on the menu. As heroes the characters will help those in need and bring to justice those who seek to do others harm.

Friendship and Comraderie

One of the greatest benefits of this game are the relationships you make, with people playing this game. For me, these relationships have lasted for decades and I cherish them deeply. It is said that a shared struggle makes fast friends. I can guarantee the struggle, you bring the friends.
